Well, like many others, I've decided to get into the blog business, so here I go. I don't have much of a purpose for this, other than to just jot down random thoughts about things in general and let others do the same. This can be for politics, religion, the weather, whatever. We'll just have to make sure that everyone remains civil with each other. I'll start:
Has anyone ever wondered why normal, average, good citizens become totally beholden to special interests and lobbyists when they become politicians? How is it that they can run and be like a Miss America contestant...wanting to feed the world and save mankind...then, in a short time, want to serve only those who can stick money in their pockets?
Anyway, that's an opening shot. Now I've gotta figure out how to let people know about this and get things rolling.
